Dr. Katrina M. Mah earned her Bachelor of Science in biology and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, GA. Originally a native of Canada, Dr. Mah has lived and worked in the U.S. since 2002. Following her chiropractic studies, she moved to Virginia and became enchanted with the people and places of the Old Dominion. She has made Virginia her home for the past seven years. Dr. Mah is Board Certified with the Virginia Board of Medicine.
At a young age, Dr. Mah knew that she wanted to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. However, her true passion for the profession was ignited when she worked for a chiropractor two summers prior to her high school graduation. During this time, she observed athletes under chiropractic care to prevent injury and create peak performance. She also saw various other patients who sought care to reach health goals and improve their quality of life. Those patients connected with chiropractic for optimal health, rather than just relief from aches and pains.
Dr. Mah believes it is her responsibility to share with patients the chiropractic lifestyle and be an example for them. She became a believer in chiropractic due to her first-hand experience as a patient. Because of chiropractic, she is a strong, healthy, active, and happy individual – and she’s committed to her patients’ care for a lifetime of wellness.
Dr. Mah is a member of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association (VCA), and certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. During her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, roller blading, kettlebell workouts, and trips to the beach. “I look forward to getting to know each and every patient and their families, and welcoming them into my chiropractic family,” said Dr. Mah. “It is time to say goodbye to poor health and to raise your wellness to an exciting new level!”
